Meet Miss Nicky!
Hi, I’m Miss Nicky, Founder and Principal of DN Dance & DN Theatre.
Originally from Yorkshire, I trained at Northern Ballet and spent seven years travelling the world as a professional dancer. I first arrived in Edinburgh with a touring show and quickly fell in love with the city, which has since become my home.
Dance and musical theatre have been at the heart of my life since childhood. When my performing career came to an end in 2010, I founded DN Dance so I could continue sharing that passion with others. Today, I run DN Dance alongside my husband Lindsay as a family business.
My mission is to create inspiring opportunities and magical experiences in the performing arts for children and families across Edinburgh. Over the years, I have seen first hand the confidence and joy that performing arts bring to so many young people.
One of our most loved offerings is our musical theatre themed Holiday Clubs. These are designed to give children a fun and meaningful experience during the school holidays, where they can learn new skills, build confidence, make friends and enjoy exciting creative experiences.
For busy parents, it also offers peace of mind, knowing your child is spending their holidays doing something positive, engaging and truly worthwhile.
We would love to welcome you to DN Dance and help make your child’s holidays exciting, enriching and unforgettable.
